ASCII code
ASCII is the acronym for the American Standard Code for Information Interchange.
It is a code for representing 128 English characters as numbers, with each letter assigned a number from 0 to 127
The code ASCII uses 7 bits to represent the characters, tat first there was using an additional bit (bit of parity) that was used to detect mistakes in the transmission. Often is called incorrectly ASCII to other codes of characters of 8 bits, as the standard ISO/IEC 8859-1, which it is an extension that uses 8 bits to provide additional characters used in languages different from the English, for example the Spanish.
We've played a game that consists of choose one word and code it in ASCII.
